Juan is a very charismatic and outgoing wedding photographer that lives in Cancun. He started in photography working at a few Resorts in the area doing mostly small photo studios.

One day he was asked by one of the Resorts if he could take the pictures of a wedding because the scheduled photographer had ran into trouble and wasn’t going to make it. In the beginning he was hesitant because he had no experience with weddings, but out of solidarity with the Resort he decided to go ahead and do it.

Since that day there has been no turning back for him, wedding photography has become his full-time passion. In every wedding he shoots he gives his 110%. In his work he imprints both his strong energy and his photographic knowledge. He specially loves doing Trash the Dress sessions.

Lately he’s been more inclined to shoot in a more photojournalistic style, since he believes it shows the couple and their guests in a more natural and emotional way. He works mainly in Cancun, Isla Mujeres, the Mayan Riviera and Cozumel, and is available to travel to other destinations.

Juan likes to use Canon 5D, Mark II & 5D Mark II cameras and Canon 24-70 mm 2.8, 70-200 mm 2.8, 16-35 mm 2.8 & fish-eye 15 mm 2.8 lenses. For lighting he uses Canon Speedlite 580 EXII flashes with Garyfongs both on and off-camera.
